Working Together

Specialist Care Is a Team Effort

A well-managed specialist pathway depends on more than the treatment itself.

Patients need clear communication before their appointment, careful clinical assessment, support during treatment and appropriate information afterwards.

Referring dentists also need timely clinical communication so specialist treatment remains connected to the patient’s wider dental care.

01

Patient Coordination

Clear guidance helps patients understand appointments, treatment and what to expect.

02

Specialist Assessment

Detailed examination and diagnosis form the basis of appropriate treatment planning.

03

Clinical Support

The clinical team helps maintain an organised, carefully prepared and reassuring treatment environment.

04

Referral Communication

Referring clinicians remain informed about relevant findings, treatment and outcomes.

Our Clinical Culture

How We Want Every Patient to Experience Care

Specialist expertise and patient experience should support each other throughout the entire treatment journey.

01

Professional

Specialist assessment and treatment are approached with care, organisation and appropriate clinical standards.

02

Clear

Patients should understand their diagnosis, treatment options and what happens next.

03

Considerate

Questions, concerns and individual circumstances deserve time, attention and respectful communication.

For Referring Dentists

Working as an Extension of the Referring Team

Referral relationships are an important part of specialist endodontic care.

Our role is to assess and manage the endodontic component of a patient’s care while keeping the referring dentist informed about relevant findings, treatment and outcome.

01

Clear Referral Pathway

Submit clinical information through the dedicated Cedars Endo referral form.

02

Specialist Assessment

The referred tooth is assessed carefully before a treatment recommendation is made.

03

Clinical Communication

Relevant findings and treatment outcomes are communicated back to the referring clinician.
